We specialize in the production of Archival Quality Prints, Portfolios and complete Exhibitions of images for visual Arts Practitioners.
The Hermit Press was established to offer a complete service to individual Artists, Photographers, their Agents, Galleries and a variety of Cultural Organizations.
Using the latest digital technology, we can translate your images into beautifully rendered, high value artifacts, with the look and feel of an 'original' hand-made piece, rather than a volume produced item, up to 44 inches (1118mm) wide and up to 49 feet (15m) long.
Using only light fast, pigment inks and the finest natural, acid free papers or canvas, The Hermit Press helps you to produce works of art that will last for generations... with many of the qualities of the original piece and with no restriction on the size of your order... 1 print... 100 prints... 1000 prints... the choice is yours. For example; you may wish to produce an edition of 100 prints of a particular image, but only print a single piece for exhibition and to generate sales... returning to The Hermit Press to print your orders as they arise... This makes 'Self-Publishing' economically viable for almost all visual arts practitioners, small galleries etc...
Our Services In Brief...
We are happy to offer advice free of charge to prospective clients... Just let us know your requirements and we will offer instructions and/or suggestions about the best way to send your work, what would be the most appropriate surface for printing your image(s)... etc. etc. Plus a detailed quotation so that you may be able to make an informed decision about how you would like to proceed... Once agreed, we then make as many or as few prints as you require and send them securely packaged, with any source material that you have supplied, plus a CD or DVD ROM containing the master files that we create for printing your images. We are also happy to hold a copy of your image(s) in our archive, so that you may order further prints without incurring delays or extra set-up costs.
